Welcome to the SL&L Research Website

The Office of Student Life and Learning Research collects and analyzes data about Appalachian students to understand better their attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors. This information is primarily used to inform programs and policies within the Student Development Division. We also cooperate with the Office of Institutional Research in coordinating institution-wide assessment efforts. Upon request, we assist offices, committees, and student groups outside the Division in developing and implementing surveys.
